Silicone Sock-X - for MK2 to MK3S+ [E3D]

The Silicone Sock-X is the latest innovation in our silicone sock line, with a primary focus on enhanced durability. Unlike the V2 socks, which used to tear, this new generation is crafted from significantly superior material using a revolutionary manufacturing method. All of this is achieved while maintaining the same perfectly snug design and exceptional resistance to high temperatures of up to 300°C.

This upgrade offers several key advantages:

1. Heater block insulation: Keep the heater block insulated to prevent it from cooling down due to interference from the part cooling fan.
2. Goodbye to plastic adhesion: This new silicone prevents plastic from adhering to the heater block, significantly reducing the likelihood of filament blobs and issues in printing.
3. Screw hole coverage: The holes for the thermistor and heater screws are protected, preventing the accumulation of plastic residue on the screw heads and making it easier to disassemble the heater cartridge and thermistor in case of breakage.
4. Reduced heat radiation: Decreasing heat radiation from the heater block creates a cooler environment and improves part cooling during printing.

These silicone socks have been meticulously designed and are specifically tailored for the Original Prusa MK2, MK2S, MK2.5, MK2.5S, MK3, MK3S, and MK3S+ models.

When using the silicone socks for the first time, you may detect a slight odor that will dissipate with continued use. Despite being more durable than the Sock-V2, it's important to handle them with care when putting them on and taking them off to extend their lifespan.
