More information can be found here: BCN3D Sigma at 3DHubs
The 3D printer has a large printing area, dual extruder, touch display, heated building board and even more brilliant features.
The two extruders work independently to considerably increase the diversity and quality of 3D printing.
PLA and water-soluble support structures (PVA) can be used for printing.
The BCN3D Sigma is an open source 3D printer whereby software can be used freely. The manufacturer recommends the use of Cura-BCN3D, Slic3r, Simplify3D, etc.
The device operates with 2.85 mm filaments.
The 3D printer processes materials such as PLA, ABS, PVA, HIPS, TPE, flexible filaments.
If using specialized filaments such as wooden or metal filaments we recommend using the BCN3D 0.6 mm nozzle. The printer is installed with standard 0.4 mm nozzles. With the 0.4 mm nozzle layer heights of between 0.05 - 0.30 mm are possible.
The maximum pressure temperature is 280 °C and the heated board reaches a temperature of 100 °C.
